The Association's 2014 annual dinner went well drawing large crowd from all walks of life, crowding the entire restaurant of Maju Palace. The dinner was attended by Dato' Douglas K. K. Lee, a respectable chap and former Association president post war of Malaya. He is the son of Tun Sir Colonel Henry H. S. Lee, Malaya's first Finance Minister whom was educated at Cambridge and met his lover while studying there. Dato' Douglas was a trustee of the Association's former asset at 4A, Lorong Hang Jebat and the Association decided to honour him and Tan Sri G. S. Gill (couldn't attend) as the theme of 2014 annual dinner "Honouring Our Founding Fathers". There is an error in naming it as a theme as the Association was founded way before both of them were even born. Nevertheless, the OC of the annual dinner decided to carry on with this theme.

During the dinner, old boy Darryn Chiew briefed the crowd about the foundation of the Association, which goes back to 1912 with papers drawn out from Arkib Negara Malaysia clearly showing the Hon. Secretary of that time submitting a list of the office bearers of the Association to the Selangor Secretariat, days of Federated Malay States back in 1912. Later alumnus Alex Wong entertained the crowd with his Elvis Presley impersonation. The dinner were graced by various corporate figures of Malaysia such as Dato' Teo Chiang Quan of Paramount Corporation Berhad, Tan Sri Chan Sau Lai of Beneton Properties, Tan Sri Yong Poh Kon of Royal Selangor and so on.Included an address by Mr. Tan Hee Heng (MBSKL's oldest living former principal and now in his 90s). MBSKL has almost all to offer to the society of Malaysia since British colonial days, educating citizens of Malaysia.
